Soft Lacrosse Timbits

Regular Season 2012

Ages 3-4

A great introduction to the sport of lacrosse. The program will encourage children to be active and have fun while being taught basic lacrosse skills through a variety of drills and games. Children will be on the floor for one hour each week for approximately 7 weeks culminating in the Summer Shootout Weekend.

 Skill Development

  • Loose ball - Picking up Loose balls from a stationary stance and on the move.
  • Passing - learning from a stationary stance and on the run techniques
  • Catching from a stationary stance
  • Cradling the ball - stationary, walking, running and an introduction to the rotation of the wrist movement

Date: Tuesdays

Note: Each new soft lacrosse player registration will be provided a lacrosse stick
